கடந்த சனிகிழமை நடந்த சிறார்களின் ஒன்று கூடுகை
Ø Filling Circle: We drew around 15 circles of around 800 mm diameter. Around 8 random circles were chosen from 15 and a cardboard box is placed on them. Kids are lined up a little away from circles. As soon as the whistle is blown kids have to run and take the cardboard box and keep them in the vacant circles (only 1 cardboard box for a circle) ,immediately they have to fill another vacant circle with another cardboard box. Kids should do this continuously for 1 minute. For every kid there will be one observer who will see how many circles they are able to fill with cardboard box. Kid who fills the more no of circles in a minute is the winner
This game is to assess how kids react swiftly to which circle they choose to take the cardboard box and which one they select to place the same. If the two circles are nearer they can take less time to accomplish the task and vice versa.
- All the kids participated actively, but the problem is younger ones(below 5 years) found it difficult to understand the rules
Ø kola kolaya mundhirika: All kids are asked is sit in a big circle. One kid volunteers to take a cloth and run around the circle , singing kola kolaya mundhirika (all of them have to sing?. He /She will be dropping her cloth behind some other kid. The kid who received the cloth, taking the same, should run to catch the kid who dropped the cloth , before the runner catches the first kid should sit in the second kid's place. Now this kid continues with cloth. Before starting her run he/she has to take a chit which was with a parent and act accordingly.
Some of the questions given in the chit and some of the answers were :

Parents had a separate chat with Bharathi Kannan about the event and feedback.
1. It was decided to conduct the children's event every Saturday evening, if School holiday then we can change the timing.
2. Separate games or event for younger kids, and a volunteer required to take care of them.
3. Every parent felt, this event should happen every week to have a good interaction among kids.
